Propaganda Assignment

You are to create your own propaganda poster. Propaganda was used often in World War I in order to influence citizen’s opinions, emotions, and attitudes as well as to persuade people to believe in something or to do something. Propaganda was used to influence people to buy a particular item, persuade people, encourage people to sign up to fight, etc.
1. Create a poster using propaganda during World War I to persuade people to buy something, believe in something, or to do something.
2. You can use a full poster or half of a poster board.
3. Print clearly and neatly using markers for your piece to stand out.
4. Your piece of propaganda should have three messages or purposes.
5. You will need to look at the website that gives the techniques for propaganda and choose at least one to use on your assignment.
6. Make sure to be creative and persuasive! You will present your poster to the class.
